This is a new organization just formed in April 2024. We are in the process of adding more individuals to the Advisory Council and will update this page as that happens.

Bob Kopelman

Owner of a duplex in Fairfax since 1998, Bob was the Executive Director of the Fairfax Chamber of Commerce from 2013-2016.

Morgan Hall

Morgan Hall owns a small house and cottage. He is a retired architect and has served on the Fairfax Planning Commission and as President of the Fairfax Chamber of Commerce.

Dave Smadbeck

.David Smadbeck has been a resident and realtor in Fairfax for the past 22 years. He and his wife Iseult Jordan operated the Sleeping Lady Restaurant and Music Venue from 2008 to 2015. He has served on the Fairfax Chamber of Commerce since 2008 as Board member, President and Executive Director. He has also been involved with the Parks and Recreation Commission, Ecofest, the Fairfax Festival, the Fairfax Halloween Parade, Streets For People as well as many other events and town activities.

Richard Pedemonte

Richard Pedemonte has been a member of the Fairfax community since 1985. He has served the town as a member of Parks and Recreation Commission, Chairman of the Fairfax Festival, and President of the Chamber of Commerce. He received of the Spirit of Marin award in 2008 and 2019.

Peter Lacques

Peter Lacques is a Fairfax resident and homeowner for over 25 years. He is currently a rental provider and a tenant. Peter is a former Mayor of Fairfax and Council Member who helped draft the orignal 2019 rent stabilization and just cause eviction ordinance. Before serving on the Town Council, Peter served on the Fairfax planning commission for eight years. As an attorney for 30 years, Peter has represented both tenants and property owners. Peter is also a musician who performs with numerous bands in and around Fairfax.
